DREAM, GIRL FILM SCREENING + FUNDRAISER
Engaging Women ‘Ambassador for Good’ Naomi Arnold has teamed up with Busi Women Inc to bring you a screening of the inspiring Dream, Girl film – a documentary showcasing the stories of inspiring and ambitious female entrepreneurs in order to empower the next generation of leaders. The film creators Erin Bagel and Komal Minhas are on a mission to encourage us to stop telling girls that they can be anything they want to be and to actually show them what it means to be a leader. Dream, Girl was featured at a private screening at the White House in the United States and the filmmakers were recently announced as one of Oprah’s SuperSoul 100 list of game changers. By attending this event you will also make a difference to the lives of local families. All ticket proceeds will be donated to Strengthening Family Connections, under the Engaging Women Ambassadorship Program. Strengthening Family Connections are a non-profit and work with children, young people and their families on the Capricorn Coast who are in vulnerable situations. It is hoped that by building upon the strengths, resilience and capacity of families, that their work will improve the wellbeing and safety of children.
